Apprentice Case Study - Rozi Eperjssy from the Pig Hotels

We asked Roszi about her apprenticeship journey with us.

I chose to do an apprenticeship as I wanted to get practical experience and start working as soon as possible.

My biggest challenge with my apprenticeship was building my portfolio. It was hard, but work helped a lot in the long run. I am now working towards a promotion; I have been able to go to various events and network as well.

I would recommend apprenticeship as a successful way to train in the hospitality sector. The sign-up was quick, easy, and accessible. The apprenticeship is mostly practical and first-hand with a nice mix of theory-based learning on the side. I feel that it is important that you get the whole experience to see if a career in this field is for you straight away.

I would rate my experience with Umbrella Training as 10/10! It was accessible, with trainers who know what they are doing and provided lots of support. I would happily recommend an apprenticeship with them to others.

"Success is a journey, not a destination”.
