Business Case Study - Royal Over-Seas League
We chose apprenticeships as a staff training/development option as we believe they support our employee's learning and development while working giving them opportunities to progress and more importantly, succeed as they have the theory behind their actions so they can make more informed decisions at work.
Our apprentices are already supporting our organisation. Giving the team the theory behind their decisions and the knowledge and having the confidence to try different things, has helped us all be more innovative.
Apprenticeships with Umbrella Training have proved to be a very profitable and accessible tool for a small organisation such as us. We are a growing organisation, and the apprenticeship program has helped us keep our team members allowing them to reach their potential through developed and applied learning.
By investing in our team, and showing them, that we can offer them progression, we have a stable workforce that we might have otherwise lost. We have already had several promotions with the team.
Sometimes expecting team members to work and study can be a challenge, especially in the hospitality industry and team members can get demotivated and fall behind, but Umbrella Training are great in supporting us with this. They listen when we highlight problems, offer support, and are quick to highlight possible issues making sure our team members have the support they need.
Umbrella Training came very highly recommended and has been great in supporting us through the whole process. Signing up with Umbrella Training was very easy as I was guided throughout, and they were available for questions anytime I needed help. The different apprenticeship programmes and levels are great. We always have good feedback from our team members at the end of the course.
We would very much like to continue working with Umbrella Training. Your help in managing our small apprentice caseload compared to the normal higher numbers is such a help for our sized organisation.
