Founded in 2000, BIIAB is the awarding organisation of choice for the hospitality industry. We offer a wide range of qualifications, assessments and other services for training providers, colleges and employers.

Support apprenticeships through end-point assessments
We are a registered End-Point Assessment Organisation for several hospitality and catering apprenticeship standards. We want to help as many apprentices as possible to progress into fulfilling employment.
We cover standards at different levels to support learners at different ages and stages. Our current hospitality end-point assessments include the following:

Deliver a wide range of qualifications
We currently offer over 50 hospitality qualifications from Entry Level to Level 4 to support individuals throughout their journeys in this sector. Through our qualifications, individuals can take their first steps in hospitality, develop their skills, and become better qualified. Many of our qualifications are mandatory elements of apprenticeships.
Our range includes essential licensing qualifications such as the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) and Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH). For some of our licensed hospitality qualifications, online delivery is available through our partners at The Skills Network.
We also cover other sectors including Health and Social Care, Security, and Business Support.

Gain accreditation through our new Accredited Training Programme
This year, BIIAB has launched a new service – the Accredited Training Programme (ATP).
Sitting outside the regulated qualification market, ATP allows training providers to gain accreditation from BIIAB in order to evidence the quality of their own learning programmes.
This is a great way for providers to stand out from the crowd. All ATP Centres can use our Accredited Centre logo to advertise their programmes, while their learners will receive dual-branded certificates featuring the BIIAB logo.
Furthermore, Centres benefit from wraparound quality assurance and support from our ATP team and Relationship Managers.

BIIAB is part of the Skills and Education Group, a charitable organisation that champions education and skills-oriented organisations, providers and learners, making real change locally, nationally and internationally.
