Eligibility Criteria for a TOTUM Card:
Before diving into the application process, it's important to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria for a TOTUM Apprentice card. Generally, the following requirements must be met:
a. You must be a current apprentice in the UK.
b. Your apprenticeship must be registered with the UK's Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
c. You must be 16 years of age or older.
Gather Required Information
To apply for a TOTUM Apprentice card, you will need to gather certain information to complete the application process smoothly. Make sure you have one of the following details readily available:
Academic email address – This is our most frequently used verification method, simply enter your academic email address and we will send a verification link to you, allowing you to proceed with your application.
Academic portal login details – If you use a student portal/intranet at your college or university, you will see the option to verify by logging into your student portal. Ensure you use the same email address and password that you login to your place of studies website with and this will verify your student status.
Document confirming proof of study – Organisations that do not have an academic email address or portal setup will have an option to ‘verify by document’ enabled. You can upload a document meeting the criteria and one of our team will review/approve this for you.
Verification/voucher code – Some organisations issue verification or voucher codes to their students. If you’ve been provided with a code simply paste it in after selecting ‘verify by code’.
Your photo
A clear photo of yourself, showing head and shoulders. This will be used on your online TOTUM profile. The photo file you upload should be 600x750 pixels in size and between 50kB and 10MB in size.
