Simon Maguire
Simon began his journey in the hotel world aged 14 as a weekend room attendant at the Barnett Hill Hotel where he thrived in the atmosphere of the hotel.
Once Simon had completed his HR degree at Strathclyde University, he joined Firmdale Hotels as a full-time Graduate Trainee. After 7 years in various Management roles Simon then took his first General Manager Role at The Atlantic Hotel, followed by senior roles with Hotel Du Vin and Harbour Hotels. Simon joined Luxury Family Hotels under their new ownership in 2019 as Managing Director. Simon has driven the groups exciting re-branding project and expansion plans. As well as the extensive refurbishment to the hotels, Simon has been focussing on new initiatives to train and connect the staff, plus ideas to set the hotels apart from their contemporaries
